Our story started as the dream of a few Latin American expats, wanting to share their passion and love for the Latin American Culture, in all its forms.
Jose Campo, our gracious Master Chef and co-founder, has been leading and supporting the various guises and efforts that Bristol has had, promoting all aspects of our Latin American traditions, acting as patron and fervent supporter of our varied cultural diversities.
Casa-Latina is the result of many years and many efforts of generating a space to make Bristol and its vast Cultural Heritage proud and happy to host our own, as part of this amazing City we call home.
We not only represent and bring a space for the LATAM community but more importantly, offer a meeting point for anyone in Bristol interested to dive into our Flavours, our Music and our Rich Culture.
We are proud of our heritage and want to share it with you!!
We had a great time, the food was delicious. Thank you, Casa Latina, for bringing us a little bit of Latin America to this country 🙏
I highly recommend you treat yourself and an eye out for a pop-up event of theirs.
I was head over heels for Empanadas Argentina, we tried the Beef as well as the chicken, wickedly crispy pastry, packed full of meltingly tender meat and spices for a flavoursome explosion.
Also, available with vegetarian and vegan options, so no one misses out on these delights.
For our main dish, we tried the Pabellon Criollo, a traditional Venezuelan dish, meltingly shredded seasoned beef with rice, black bean stew and fried plantain. I’ll be thinking of these flavours for a long time, as every mouth was full of well-balanced and addictively moreish, a dish that can chase away the rain clouds.
All of the dishes we tried were super tasty, and we’d definitely recommend Casa Latina next time you’re looking for something new & amazing to try.
They are also running special events in order to promote Latin American culture, not just through food!
